Having been in this "business" a long time, I have learned that people just have questions. Not difficult questions, not perplexing thoughts, just questions. I have availed myself to talk one on one to these individuals by phone, by presentation, by e-mail, even in my front yard. Any forum is acceptable to me...as long as the question gets asked!

Over the years I have given presentations to professional and private organizations, parent groups and yes...even school districts. The topics have varied from, "How do you get an IEP for your Child" to "Revisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act" Nothing...nothing is too unimportant to address.

These "seminars" have ranged from three to four hundred people in attendance. Personally, I enjoy the smaller, the better.

Do you need someone to address your group? As long as the topic is related to kids with disabilities (that's about all we know about), feel free to call or write. If the topic is best suited for a professional in another area of expertise, our resources are seemingly unlimited to have those good people speak on the subject you need.

My favorite "seminar"?...with parents!  A parent will call me with a school-related concern about their child. As the conversation goes on, it is discovered that numerous children in the particular county are having the same problem. Many meetings have been arranged in the privacy of a parent's home with other parents being invited to share in their concerns and trying to find some resolution. No one is charged for my time and the meeting lasts until all questions have been answered.

If you are a parent who would enjoy a collective meeting with other parents, give me a call or write.
